Summary
In the study, the authors use a mathematical model based on the influence of parameters of the two-phase mixture (air-water relation, diameter of droplets, speed of spraying) for the cooling of a surface at a much higher temperature than the saturation temperature of the liquid. They consider that flow is laminar in the vapour film. The interpretation of the mathematical model is illustrated by curves of heat flow plotted against droplet size.
