THE STUDY DESCRIBES AN EFFICIENT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING HOT WATER AND FOR HEATING THE SLAUGHTERING PREMISES (SLAUGHTERING HALL AND OFFAL SECTION). THIS SYSTEM USES THE CONDENSER OF THE REFRIGERATING UNITS, A HEAT PUMP RECOVERING HEAT FROM THE CONDENSER, SUPPLEMENTED BY WATER STORAGE HE THE LEAST FAVOURABLE OPERATING CONDITIONS OF THE USE OF A HEAT PUMP IN THE ABATTOIR, IE IN WINTER, WERE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT IN DESIGNING THIS INSTALLATION.
