Humidification systems play crucial role for banana wholesalers to turn a profit.
Type of article: Article
Summary
An RH of 85-95% has traditionally been achieved by wetting the floors of banana storage rooms and a new state-of-the-art humidification system in a pressurized ripening area is described. Desired humidities of 85-90% RH at a temperature of 14.4 deg C are achieved by water atomisation. G.R.S.
