Summary
In order to meet consumer needs, an increasingly wide variety of ice cream is now available in France. Imaginative attempts are being made in order to promote consumption other than as a dessert "fun" products for young people, with alcohol for adults, portraying cartoon characters, or as snacks. The aim is to raise ice-cream consumption all year round.
