Summary

THE INFLUENCE OF SEASONAL VARIATIONS IN EXTERNAL AIR TEMPERATURE ON HEAT INFLOW TO THE COLD CHAMBER WAS ANALYZED ; THE EFFECT OF THE ROOM TEMPERATURE ON THE LENGTH OF STORAGE TIME OF FROZEN PRODUCTS WAS STUDIED. A CALCULATION METHOD IS PROPOSED TO ESTIMATE THE EFFECT OF EXTERNAL AIR TEMPERATURE ON WEIGHT LOSS OF STORED PRODUCTS. ANALYSIS OF THE WEIGHT LOSS DYNAMICS IN THREE COLD ROOMS INDICATED A POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE TYPE OF COOLING SYSTEM.
