Summary

Lettuces were grown under different conditions of nitrogenated fertilization, then stored at 1 deg C for 1 or 2 weeks. The effects on content of dry matter, glucides, vitamin C and nitrates were studied on two cultivars of lettuce. When compared with cultivar Marius, cultivar Saladin exhibited better quality characteristics after storage.
