Summary
THE RESULTS OF FIELD TESTS ON AN AIR-COOLED CONDENSER TEST MOD EL WITH A FINNED EXCHANGE SURFACE OF A PARTICULAR FORM ARE REPORTED. THE BASIC OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS OF AIR-COOLED CONDENSERS PROPOSED AND USED ARE COMPARED. THE USE OF FINNED SURFACES IMPROVES THE WEIGHT AND SIZE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONDENSER IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN ITS THERMOTECHNICAL AND AERODYNAMIC PROPERTIES.
