Kryogenika '96/Cryogenics '96. Proceedings of the fourth international conference.

Date: 1996.04.23 / 1996.04.26

Location: Prague, Czech (Republic)

Summary

These proceedings contain the papers of this conference, co-sponsored by the IIR and organized by the Czech Society for Mechanical Engineering, National Section for Cryogenics and other Czech associations, held in Praha, Czech Republic, April 23 to 26, 1996. It dealt with problems of the equipment and technologies where temperatures below 120 K are achieved, as well as application of cryogenics-based technologies in metallurgy, chemistry, power industry, medicine and other branches. Extract from the table of contents: helium temperature technology and superconductivity (superconducting magnets and devices; superconductors and their properties; experimental techniques at liquid helium temperatures; helium temperature technology); pressure swing adsorption; technical gases transport, storage and application; cryogenic heat exchangers. The papers will be abstracted in a future issue of the IIR Bulletin.
