Lubricant management issues for R22 and R407C.

Author(s) : JANNICK P., SCHWIEGEL M.

Summary

Energy efficiency and capacity measurements with R22 and R407C and various oil types were performed in order to investigate the influence of the lubricant type on operating stability. The refrigerants R22 with mineral oil and alkylbenzene oil, as well as R407C with polyolester oil, alkylbenzene oil with additives and polyvinylether oil, were investigated using a refrigeration test rig. The experiments are described and the results obtained are discussed.
