Lubrication requirements in new ammonia refrigerating equipment.

Summary
After a brief presentation of current plants, it is shown that new plants will need lubricants that are soluble with ammonia. After a comparison of ammonia-soluble and non-soluble lubricants, the main properties and performances of the refrigerant-lubricant couple are presented.
