Summary

THE MAGNETIC FIELD-INDUCED ANISOTROPY OF RESISTANCE FOR DIFFERENT CURRENT DIRECTIONS WITH RESPECT TO MAGNETIC FIELD IN THE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION REGION IS FOUND IN THESE POLYCRYSTALS WITH A RANDOM EQUIPROBABLE DISTRIBUTION OF MONOCRYSTAL-GRAIN ORIENTATIONS IN ANGLE. THE ANISOTROPY IS SHOWN TO BE MAINLY DUE TO THE ANISOTROPY OF NORMAL RESISTANCE IN GRAINS WHICH CONSTITUTE A POLYCRYSTAL. SAMPLES WITH A PRONOUNCED TEXTURE DISPLAY A MORE CONSIDERABLE ANISOTROPY OF DIFFERENT SIGN. THE ANISOTROPY IN ISOTROPIC POLYCRYSTALS VANISHES WITH APPROACHING THE PERCOLATION THRESHOLD AND CLOSE TO THE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION TEMPERATURE.
