Summary
Droplet sizes of water spray are measured by both the freezing method and the immersion sampling method and the results are compared. The reason of the decrease of droplets number in the immersion sampling method is considered to be caused by the disappearing of smaller droplets due to evaporation. Through the comparison experiment with immersion sampling method, it has been revealed the present apparatus can afford highly accurate value of droplet sizes.
