Summary

3,3,4,4,5,5-HFCPE is being expected as an alternative working fluid for the high-temperature heat pumps and organic Rankine cycles owing to its low GWP value as well as its favorable environmentally friendly properties. Transport properties of 3,3,4,4,5,5-HFCPE, like the thermal conductivity and viscosity, have become of growing interest for designing practical applications. The main target of this work is to measure the thermal conductivity of 3,3,4,4,5,5-HFCPE using the transient hot-wire method, where the two vertical platinum hot wires are connected in the measurement cell. The measurements are performed in the temperature range from 61 to 201 ℃ at pressures up to 4.0 MPa and these measured data were found in the range of 51.0 to 85.1 mW m-1 K-1. The combined uncertainty is estimated to be less than 2.0 % for the measurement.
