MEASUREMENTS OF JOULE-THOMSON COEFFICIENTS FOR THE BINARY REFRIGERANT MIXTURE R22-R114.

Author(s) : STEPHAN K., MRZYGLOD M.

Summary

FOR THE NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURES, ISENTHALPS WERE MEASURED WITH THE R22-R114 MIXTURE. THESE MEASUREMENTS ARE BASED ON THE ADIABATIC EXPANSION OF THE FLUID. THE CURVE SLOPE PROVIDES THE JOULE-THOMSON COEFFICIENT. THE MEASUREMENTS WERE MADE IN VAPOUR AND LIQUID PHASES AS WELL AS IN THE CRITICAL REGION BETWEEN 243 AND 453 K (-30 AND 180 DEG C), UNTIL 7.5 MEGAPASCALS. THEN, THESE RESULTS WERE COMPARED WITH THE VALUES CALCULATED BY MEANS OF THE LEE-KESLER-PLOCKER AND BENDER EQUATION OF STATE.
