Measurements of the isobaric heat capacity of liquid pentafluoroethane (R125).

Summary
The isobaric specific heat capacity (cp) of liquid pentafluoroethane (R125) was measured with a flow calorimeter. 24 cp values were obtained in the range of temperatures 285-325 K and pressures 1.5-3.0 MPa. The expanded uncertainties are estimated to be 8.4 mK in temperature, 10 kPa in pressure, and about 0.6% in cp, with the level of confidence corresponding to 95%. Based upon the measured cp data, a correlation of cp was developed as a function of temperature and pressure. The cp measurements were compared with the values derived from several existing equations of state.
