Summary

THE ARTICLE DISCUSSES PRESENT METHODS USED FOR TRANSPORTING ICE CREAM CUBES TO THE AREA WHERE THEY ARE LOADED INTO AND UNLOADED FROM A FREEZING TUNNEL. A DESCRIPTION OF THE MECHANIZED SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTING THE CUBES FROM THE PACKAGING ROOM, THROUGH THE FREEZING TUNNEL AND TO A FINAL POINT FOR PACKAGING IN LARGE CARTONS. FIELD TESTS IN A FACTORY INGDANSK ARE REPORTED ON.
