MICRO-ELECTRONIC CONTROL OF UNITS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SIMULATION TECHNOLOGY: THE COMPARISON OF CONVENTIONAL CONTROL SYSTEMS WITH THOSE BASED UPON MICROCOMPUTERS.

Summary

THE AUTHORS REPORT THE PURPOSE OF THE CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR TEST ROOMS, DIFFERENTIATING USE UNDER NORMAL AND SEVERE CONDITIONS FOR THE AIR CONDITIONING OF THESE ROOMS. THEY PRESENT A CONTROL SYSTEM WITH A MICROCOMPUTER AND DESCRIBE ITS MAIN COMPONENTS. THE ADVANTAGE OF THE SYSTEM IS MAKING POSSIBLE THE CONTROL OF OPERATING VARIABLES (TEMPERATURE, PRESSURE) AFTER FLOW DIAGRAMS THAT THE OPERATOR CAN INCLUDE IN MANY WAYS BY MEANS OF A KEYBOARD AND A SCREEN ; IN ADDITION, HE CAN SUPPLEMENT THE PROGRAMS, EG IN ORDER TO EVALUATE THE RESULTS BY MEANS OF THE COMPUTER.
