Micro-regenerators for gas refrigerating machines.
Mikro-Regenerator für Gaskältemaschinen.
Author(s) : WILD S., OELLRICH L. R., HOFMANN A.
Summary
A completely new parallel-flow micro-regenerator was tested. First results showed that the lowest attainable temperature was about 33 K and that at 80 K a refrigerating capacity of 36 watts was attained. During comparative tests it was possible to raise the capacity of the hitherto used wire gauze generator to 50 watts at 80 K.
