Summary

THE MINIMUM DURATION WHICH IS NEEDED TO REACH A GIVEN TEMPERATURE AT ANY POINT WITHIN THE CARGO IS OBTAINED TAKING CARE OF GOODS BREATHING AND, IF NECESSARY, OF THEIR DRYING UP. THE FUNCTIONING CAPABILITIES OF THE SHIP'S EQUIPMENT ARE ALSO TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT WHEN THEY DO NOT ALLOW TO ENSURE A STEP FUNCTION AS INITIAL CONDITION OR WHEN THE COOLING AIR DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM IS UNBALANCED (SEE ALSO ABSTR. 85-1732).
