Summary
The significance of defrosting in working of refrigerating systems is introduced in the article. The classification of defrosting systems is discussed and differences in consumption of energy were pointed out. There also was presented the row of new patents leaning on entirely new idea of defrosting, namely on utilization of "cold" accumulated in frosted evaporator for improvement of COP.
