Natural gas-driven heat pumps in the Netherlands.
Author(s) : OVERDIEP J. J.
Summary
All over the world, programmes were started in order to reduce fossil fuel consumption and the associated emissions of carbon dioxide. In the Netherlands, a stringent regulation was introduced in order to lower the primary energy use of new houses and buildings. Heat pumps can play an important role. The paper gives an overview of the market possibilities for the gas-driven heat pump, especially the diffusion-absorption heat pump.
