Whether they are used for processing dairy products, for freezing foodstuffs or for freeze-drying coffee without reducing its aroma - in the food sector, plants using natural refrigerants have become state-of-the-art technology, and rightly so: the benefits conferred by refrigerating plants using ammonia, carbon dioxide or hydrocarbons are highly convincing - reduced running costs and energy consumption.
