Summary

TRANSPORTING STRAWBERRIES IN C.A. RESULTED IN BETTER QUALITY OF FRUITS AND REDUCTION OF ROT. CO2 MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 10% BECAUSE AT HIGHER LEVELS IT CAN CAUSE TASTE MODIFICATION IN FRUITS, ALTHOUGH ROT IS MORE REDUCED. IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE THE CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERE IN THE VEHICLE BY MEANS OF N2 AND CO2 GENERATOR MAKING ONLY A FEW SIMPLE TECHNICAL MODIFICATIONS TO THE LORRY.
