Numerical calculus of the pressure field for a swirling flow.
Author(s) : SANDU M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
This article presents numerical calculus using Fluent software in order to determine the pressure fields and flow rate of a single-phase liquid flow. Several cases, with various geometries and flow rates at the inlet of the device, were tested. Finally, initial conclusions were drawn and future research and simulation areas are proposed in order to optimize the design and manufacturing of a discharge device based on swirling flow.
