ON THE USE OF SEMI-CONTINUOUS ZEOLITE 13X-WATER CYCLE FOR CHEMICAL HEAT PUMP: EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS AND NUMERICAL SIMULATION.

POMPE A CHALEUR CHIMIQUE UTILISANT LE CYCLE PSEUDO-CONTINU ZEOLITE-EAU : RESULTATS EXPERIMENTAUX ET SIMULATION NUMERIQUE.

Author(s) : ISMAIL I.

Summary

THE AUTHORS PRESENT THE STATUS OF THE WORK UNDERWAY ON THE APPLICATION OF A SEMI-CONTINUOUS ZEOLITE-WATER CYCLE FOR THE HEAT PUMP MODE AND THE COOLING MODE. THEY FIRST DESCRIBE THE EXPERIMENT AND THE PRINCIPLE OF THE CYCLE, THEN GIVE RESULTS OF THE MEASURED ISOSTERES. THEY DISCUSS THE VARIATION OF THE HEAT EXCHANGE COEFFICIENT BETWEEN THE ZEOLITE AND THE HEAT EXCHANGE MEDIUM. HEAT AND MASS BALANCES ARE PRESENTED AND ANALYSED. THEY GIVE PREDICTIONS FOR THE WORK UNDERWAY. THE GAINS WHICH ARE OBTAINED WITH AN HERMETIC UNIT ARE DISCUSSED AS WELL AS THE PROBLEMS COMING FROM THE EVAPORATION.
