Optimisation of ice thermal storage systems using exergy analysis method.
Author(s) : ZHANG W. J., QIN G. R., HAN X. T.
Summary
The concepts of exergy, exergetic efficiency, and exergy analysis method are used to show how exergy can be conserved and exergy losses reduced as much as possible. A new method is introduced in detail, which includes how to size the configuration and capacity of the evaporator, ice storage tank, condenser etc., and how to set up a series of optimized operation parameters of the system, and finally, how to build up an energy-saving, exergy saving, high efficiency optimised ice thermal storage system and its mode of operation.
