OPTIMUM CONDITIONS FOR THE COOLING OF A WALL BY MEANS OF A REFRIGERATING MACHINE OPERATING AT HIGH TEMPERATURE.

CONDITIONS OPTIMALES DE REFROIDISSEMENT D'UNE PAROI A L'AIDE D'UNE MACHINE FRIGORIFIQUE FONCTIONNANT A HAUTE TEMPERATURE.

Summary

THE INTERNAL JUNCTION TEMPERATURES OF ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS IS PRESENTLY LIMITED TO 125 DEG C. IN ORDER TO EVACUATE HIGH HEAT FLUXES AT HIGH TEMPERATURE, THE REFRIGERANT USED IS R114. TESTS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT WITH SEVERAL OPERATING CONDITIONS IN ORDER TO FIND THE MINIMUM VALUE OF THE EVAPORATOR SURFACE TEMPERATURE. THE MOST IMPORTANT PARAMETERS ARE THE FLUID FLOW RATE, WHICH IS CONTROLLED BY THE EXPANSION VALVE, AND THE INSTALLATION REFRIGERANT LOAD.
