Summary
Based on the meteorological parameters in Tianjin, taking the buildings along the Haihe River as an example, the dynamic simulation analysis of the water source heat pump system with Haihe River as the heat source was carried out by using the Transient System Simulation Program TRNSYS. The applicability of surface water source heat pump system in Tianjin was evaluated through quantitative analysis of system performance parameters such as water temperature, building load, indoor and outdoor temperature, COP of heat pump unit, operating power and energy consumption of each equipment, system refrigeration and refrigeration capacity, whose results show that the COP of the heat pump unit has a great correlation with the water source temperature of Haihe River. When the water source temperature is between 12 °C and 13 °C, the COP of the heat pump reaches the maximum, while the energy efficiency ratio is 3.26 in cooling season and 3.08 in heating season. In this case, the surface water source heat pump system is applicable to the climatic conditions in Tianjin.
