Summary
Experiments were conducted on a heat pump operating with HFC227, CFC114 and HFC134a at different condensing and evaporating temperatures. The heating capacity and COP of the heat pump with different fluids are compared. The results show that HFC227 is recommended as a working fluid for evaporating temperatures higher than 30 °C, such as those encountered in India.
