PERFORMANCE TEST OF R12 ALTERNATES IN A HERMETIC COMPRESSOR.
Author(s) : ZHENG J., PELAVA J. W.
Summary
THE PAPER PRESENTS MEASUREMENT DATA ON THE CALORIMETER TESTS OF A HERMETIC COMPRESSOR. RESULTS FROM COMPRESSOR CALORIMETER TESTS ON THE R12/MINERAL OIL REPLACEMENT CANDIDATES, INCLUDING R134A/PAG OIL AND MIXTURES OF R22-R124/ALKYLBENZENE OIL, ARE DISCUSSED. RESULTS SHOW THAT BOTH R134A AND THE R22-R124 BLEND CAN ACHIEVE COMPARABLE PERFORMANCES UNDER MOST CONDITIONS WITH MINIMAL TRADE-OFF.
