Summary
The authors present the experimental procedure, test method and data processing ih detail. Experiments in condition of high humidity environment show that the system COP tends to be higher while heat extracting efficiency of condenser remains almost the same in drier air environment under certain welt-bulb temperature, and that heat extracting capacity of condenser decreases distinctly and extracting efficiency increases slightly when wet-bulb temperature rises in condition of the same dry-bulb temperature, air rate and water spray density. The optimhed value of face air velocity and water spray density could be obtained for given evaporative condenser. Based on the experimental results, fits the heat transfercoefficient between the water film and the air flow. Presents the distribution of heat extracting rate and heat transfer area of vapour section, condensing section and sub-cooling section in different heat extracting conditions.
