Pollutant separation by condensation in fluidized bed.
Condensation de polluants en lit fluidisé.
Type of article: Article
Summary
A polluted effluent can be treated by cooling the whole stream and condensing pollutants such as Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C.). This study presents a new separation process aimed at cooling the effluent and condensing its polluted fraction in a fluidized bed where particles transfer the heat and capture the liquid fraction produced. Some empirical and theoretical preliminary results are presented.
