Summary
THE POSSIBILITY OF USING DEGDME (DIETHYLENEGLYCOLDIME-THYLETHER) WITH R23, AND ACETON WITH CO2 WAS INVESTIGATED. A PROGRAMME WAS DRAWN UP FOR CALCULATING THE CIRCULATION OF THE FLUIDS. TESTS SHOWED THAT THE R23/DEGDME AND CO2/ACETON MIXTURES OPERATED AT LOWER PRESSURES AND WERE POSSIBLE WORKING PAIRS FOR A COMPRESSION MACHINE WITH SOLUTION CIRCUIT. THE CO2/ACETON CONCENTRATION MUST BE RAISED IN ORDER TO ARRIVE AT AN ENERGY CONSUMPTION COMPARABLE TO THAT OF CONVENTIONAL INSTALLATIONS OPERATINGO 1R THIS IS POSSIBLE EITHER BY RAISING THE MAXIMUM PRESSURE OF THE INSTALLATION OR BY USING A TERNARY MIXTURE. ANOTHER POSSIBILITY IS DISCUSSED, THAT OF USING A VALVELESS COMPRESSOR WITHOUT A REFRIGERANT MACHINE OIL.
