A NEW 2 STAGE FLOODED NH3 RECIRCULATION SYSTEM IS DESCRIBED WHICH IS TO SUPPLY A POULTRY PROCESSING FACTORY WITH 233 AND 265 K (-40 AND -8 DEG C) COOLING CIRCUITS FOR VARIOUS PROCESSES. THESE INCLUDE A 3 TONNE/HOUR SPIRAL FREEZER, AND A CONTINUOUS FEED AIR CHILL LINE WHICH DOES NOT STOP FOR DEFROST CYCLES. THE PLANT INITIALLY HAD TO BE CONNECTED TO AN EXISTING SYSTEM, BUT A NEW ENGINE ROOM IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION WHICH WILL HAVE SPECIALLY MODIFIED SCREW COMPRESSOR SETS WITH THEENTIRE PLANT MONITORED AND CONTROLLED WITH A NEW TYPE OF MICROPROCESSOR BASED SYSTEM.
