THE RESULTS OF PRE AND POSTHARVEST CONTROL TRIALS AGAINST BOTRYTIS CINEREA ON < CONFERENCE > AND < PASSE-CRASSANE > PEARS WITH REGISTERED FUNGICIDES (BENOMYL, BITERTANOL, IPRODIONE AND PROCYMIDONE) AND EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS (DICHLOZOLINATE, ETACONAZOLE, MYCLOZOLIN, PROCHLORAZ AND VINCLOZOLIN) ARE REPORTED. FIELD AND POSTHARVEST TREATMENTS WITH BENOMYL, IPRODIONE, PROCYMIDONE AND VINCLOZOLIN AT 0.05-0.1% ACTIVE INGREDIENT REDUCED THE INCIDENCE OF BOTRYTIS CINEREA, BUT POST-HARVEST TREATMENTS WERE MORE EFFECTIVE. RESIDUES WERE WITHIN THE LIMITS SET BY THE ITALIAN LAW. DICHLOZOLINATE (AT 0.05% ACTIVE INGREDIENT), MYCLOZOLIN AND PROCHLORAZ (0. 05-0.1% ACTIVE INGREDIENT) ALSO WERE EFFECTIVE WHEN USED AS POSTHARVEST TREATMENTS.
