Summary

KAISER PEARS WERE TREATED WITH A MIXTURE OF VINCLOZOLIN (2 CONCENTRATIONS), CARBENDAZIM AND CAPTAN + CARBENDAZIM DURING 10, 12 AND 2 DAYS PRIOR TO HARVEST. AN EXAMINATION WAS MADE OF THE PERCENTAGE OF FRUITS AFFECTED BY ROTTING AFTER THEY HAD BEEN STORED FOR 5 MONTHS AT 273 K (0 DEG C). POST-HARVEST IS MORE EFFICIENT THAN PRE-HARVEST TREATMENTS, ALTHOUGH PRE-HARVEST TREATMENT WITH CARBENDAZIM FOLLOWED BY POST-HARVEST DIPPING IN VINCLOZOLIN PRODUCED GOOD RESULTS.
