PREDICTION OF AIR FLOW PATTERNS IN COLD STORES BASED ON TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS.

Author(s) : WANG H., TOUBER S.

Summary

A NEW METHOD WAS DEVELOPED IN ORDER TO PREDICT AIR CIRCULATION IN COLD ROOMS. THE MATHEMATICAL MODEL IS BASED ON TWO MAIN EQUATIONS (MASS AND ENERGY EQUILIBRIA). IN ORDER TO CHECK SUCH A MODEL A TEST STAND WAS USED WHERE TEST RESULTS ARE ESTABLISHED. A CHART WAS DRAWN UP WHICH GAVE SATISFACTORY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CALCULATED AND TEST RESULTS. THE LIMITS OF THE METHOD PROPOSED ARE REPORTED IN CONCLUSION.
