QUALITY TEST ON PREFABRICATED COLD STORE PANELS BY INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY.

Summary

A METHOD IS PROPOSED, WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE A QUALITY TEST OF PANELS FOR PREFABRICATED COLD STORES, AND TO CHARACTERIZE THE DIFFERENT METHODS OF ASSEMBLY. THE PROPOSED METHOD IS BASED ON THE ESTIMATION OF THE HEAT EXCHANGE COEFFICIENTS, MAINLY OBTAINED BY A THERMOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS. NUMERICAL ALGORITHMS WERE STUDIED FOR THE PRETREATMENT AND AUTOMATIC RECORDING OF THE DATA WHICH MAY GUARANTEE AN ACCURACY BETTER THAN 0.1 K IN THE THERMOGRAPHIC MEASUREMENT. THREE THERMOKINETICALLY HOMOGENEOUS AREAS WERE DETERMINED: AREAS SUBM ITTED TO ONE-DIMENSIONAL (A1), TWO-DIMENSIONAL (A2), AND THREE-DIMENSIONAL (A3) THERMAL FLUX. ANOMALIES IN THE CONDUCTIVITY WERE DETERMINED, WHICH DEPEND CHIEFLY ON BOUNDARY CONDITIONS. A QUALITY CONTROL OF THE PANEL ASSEMBLING WAS CARRIED OUT BY MEASURING LEAK TIGHTNESS.
