Summary

For the first time in world practice a method of prediction of the value of frost heave of floors and cold store buildings that are built on frost-dangerous heaving grounds being frozen during cold store operation has been developed. A method of studying ground samples is presented. Examples of establishing of the amount of heaving on the basis of these studies are considered.
