Prediction of pool boiling heat transfer with new refrigerants based on thermodynamic similarity.
Author(s) : GOLOBIC I., GASPERSIC B.
Summary
A method of predicting the pool boiling heat transfer coefficient based on thermodynamic similarity was developed. The method enables determination for fluids, especially for new refrigerants, where thermodynamic and transport properties over the temperature range are not known, needing only fluid properties constants such as molecular weight, critical temperature, critical pressure and normal boiling point or acentric factor.
