Summary

FREEZE-DRIED SULFATES WERE PREPARED FROM A MIXED AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF MANGANESE, COBALT AND NICKEL SULFATES, AND THEN WERE CALCINED AT 1173-1273 K (900-1000 DEG C) FOR 1 H TO OBTAIN UNIFORM FINE GRAINED-SPINEL POWDERS WHICH CAN BE USEFUL FOR PRODUCING DESIRABLE ELECTRIC PROPERTIES IN A THERMISTOR. THE POWDERS OBTAINED BY CALCINING FORMED A POROUS SPHERICAL BODY IN SHAPE CONSISTING OF PRIMARY PARTICLES WITH UNIFORM FINE GRAIN SIZE.
