Summary

Study of Yersinia behaviour in whole or prepared lettuce, packed in polypropylene bags or in PVC packages, and stored at 4 or 10 deg C for 1 week. Yersinia spp is isolated in 81% of samples. Y. enterocolitica biotype 1 is dominant. No pathogen strain is isolated.
