Summary
The methods, devices and facilities of the recent forced-air cooling and controlled atmosphere storage are introduced and evaluated from the standpoint of the chemical reaction rate. Detailed descriptions are also given on the chemical heat storage application to vacuum cooling, the titanium oxide coated film with ultraviolet ray for ethylene cut and multipurpose controlled atmosphere storage.
