Summary
The development of ozone-friendly CFC substitutes and the design of new ranges of refrigerating equipment using these new refrigerants are described. The sub-programme entitled "Industrial refrigerating equipment" is detailed, together with its main topics. Preliminary research results are presented, concerning the operation of a refrigerating machine with a reciprocating hermetic commpressor using R134a and oil. The standardization work in this field is described. C.C.
