Property model and correlations for calculation of thermodynamic and transport properties of carbon dioxide in the supercritical region.

Author(s) : BIN KAMAL M., PALM B.

Summary

This paper suggests correlations and property models for calculation of the thermophysical properties of carbon dioxide in the supercritical region. Polynomial regression and interpolation technique have been employed to generate correlations from reliable data sources. Polynomials are presented for density, specific heat capacity, viscosity and thermal conductivity and results are compared with data from the literature. Three-dimensional property variation surfaces have also been included.
