Protective atmosphere packaging.
Envasado bajo atmósfera protectora.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Protective atmosphere packaging consists in replacing the atmosphere around the product by specially-designed atmospheres during packaging. This makes it possible to control chemical, enzymatic or microbial reactions and therefore to slow the development of degradation products, which may appear during storage or distribution. A new range of gases was developed for this application: the FRESHGAS range.
