PROTEIN BIOSYNTHESIS AND DNA IN RECLAIM OF ORAL MUCOUS MEMBRANE IN RATS AFTER CRYODESTRUCTION AND DIATHERMOCOAGULATION.

Summary

SEVERAL INVESTIGATIONS HAVE REVEALED THAT THE METABOLISM OF TH E REGENERATIVE TISSUE OF THE ORAL MUCOUS MEMBRANE IS CHARACTERIZED BY A HIGHER LEVEL OF BIOSYNTHESIS OF THE SUMMARY PROTEINS AND OF DNA, AND BY ALOWER LEVEL OF PROTEINS CONTAINING PROLIN, AFTER CRYODESTRUCTION WHEN COMPARED WITH DIATHERMOCOAGULATION.
