Freezer-trawler based in Iceland have started using a slurry ice system recently developed and manufactured. The on-board system can produce between 2.5 and 7.5 tons of Flo-Ice per day for mixing with refrigerated sea water, with ice-percentages of between approximately 5 and 35%.
