Qatar's National Emission Inventory Report 2019.
Author(s) : SAYEED M.
Type of monograph: Report
Summary
This is Qatar’s National Emission Inventory Report 2019, published as a part of civil society’s role in tracking environmental issues in Qatar. The structure and format of this Report have been loosely conformed to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) guidelines reporting, and since this is not an official Report from the Submitting Agency (MME), we adopted a flexible approach so that the information presented here is easy to understand for the readers. The Report contains key findings and summary of national greenhouse gas emission estimates for the period 1998-2019. The emission estimates are compiled and consistent with the IPCC 2006 Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories (IPCC, 2006) and, wherever possible, referred to the IPCC 2019 Refinement of the 2006 IPCC Guidelines (IPCC, 2019).
