Summary

A CASE STUDY IS PRESENTED DESCRIBING THE WAY IN WHICH IMPROVEMENTS WERE MADE IN THE APPLICATION OF THE COLD CHAIN TO THE DISTRIBUTION OF MILK PRODUCTS. THESE IMPROVEMENTS WERE ACHIEVED THROUGH A MUTUAL EFFORT OF THE DUTCH COMMODITY BOARD FOR DAIRY PRODUCE, THE DAIRY INDUSTRY, THE MILK RETAILERS AND THE DUTCH GOVERNMENT.
